Hi Jodie,

Interesting name.

Right now we are in between boats. Seems the last boat went away
through a divorce. Now that I've remarried, we'd like very much to
get into the next boat. However, every time it gets close something
else seems to happen. The economy down turn here didn't help and I'm
fighting off a low back problem. My wife is doing the same with a
shoulder injury. We still have hopes though. If we have our way, the
next one will be a Hans Christian 38T or something in the 36 - 38
foot range with that general design. When she arrives, I've given
serious thought to naming her "Mystic Wind". Of course, my wife might
want to have some input on that too. :-)

Someone we know just announced they will buying a 55 plus foot boat
within the next couple months and heading out within the next few
months. Some other people we know are getting ready too. My wife and
I were talking this evening about just how many people we know that
are either getting ready to go or have already gone. I keep thinking
out time will come. Gotta keep the dream alive.

I'd also like to know the names of other boats and why they are named
what they are. There is usually a story about why it is named what it
is. I think it is fascinating to hear the "whys" of it all.

When are you planning to make the trip to the U.S. from So. Africa?
