Subject: [world-cruising] Apology

Hi everyone,
I want to seriously apologise for the hornet's nest I seem to have stirred
up ... to me, it was a valid question to ask - many email groups habitually
use offensive language, and I simply wanted to ascertain whether this list
was one of them so that I could make my own decision whether to stay or not.
It's very true that there is horrific stuff all around us on the net and in
junk mails that pour into my in-box, so I'm not sure why wanting to prevent
myself getting involved in yet another source of abuse is considered
"inappropriate" - personally, I consider vulgar language more inappropriate
than seeking to avoid it, but that's my personal opinion. My question was
not a personal attack on this list or anyone in it - it was simply me
exercising my right to choose. (Yes, it was to protect myself, not my
children, who are adult and living overseas, LOL!!!)
I do sincerely apologise to those I upset. Since open signatures are
accepted on this list, presumably mine won't offend, either. :-))
(TIC!!!!!!! LOL!)
