We keep the boat documentation papers, and the radio licenses on board
at all times. We also have the sales information and state
registration stuff esp. for the dinghy which isn't documented of
course. We have these items in a large 3 ring binder in plastic
sleeves. Also in this binder are photos of various parts of the boat
(for instance how it looks when hauled in the slings so the lift
operator can see what the underbody looks like). None of this can be
forgotten because it stays on the boat at all times.
We also carry all the documentation and manuals for the various
pieces of equipment also filed in notebooks
We have boat cards also which have our name, the name of the boat, the
radio call sign, and our email addresses.
