Barry,
The obvious solution is to move back to the marina. I have seen many
"solutions" but never one that worked, except for the rotating gadgets that
are clipped to the windshield frame on small runabouts. But, even moving
things don't always work. In Florida, Ospreys often perch on Windex units,
bending them like pretzels.
I know this isn't a funny situation, but I have to say I got a chuckle out of
one I saw on a cruising boat last year. There was an elaborate 3' horizontal
ring at the masthead on which were mounted all sorts of antennas, wind
sensors, etc. In between, there were "spikes" which were supposed to keep the
birds from perching, but the parrots loved to sit there and poop on the boat!
Have you tried camping out with a 12-gauge? That might discourage em!
Good luck, and good sailing,
John
