As a long time lurker who only dreams of the day I can buy a sail boat, I
can say that when e-groups sold out to yahoo I lost track of it for

months. I only rediscovered it by accident when yahoo made some changed

required me to scan for all the groups I was a member of and viola! there

was! it could be similar for others who simply "lost" the group.
I too noticed there were far fewer posts. it could also have been impact

It is interesting that the number of postings to the group has fallen
off so dramatically in the last couple of years - from 200 or 300 a
month in 1999 to an average of around 50 (or less) a month now.
Any idea why?
Suggestions (with addresses) from members who use other sites and
newsletters covering our topics would be very welcome.
