Yes I was thinking about the s/s mounting bracket.
I saw one fitted to a Moody 45 (similar stern deck to my boat) and it looked good.
However I spoke to the ceo of Ampair and he implied that it was better to tie the generator off between the rails of the pushpit.
I suppose that way you can take it off and leave everything as it was - but I still like the robust nature of the bracket.
Did you buy the unit in the UK or from an agent?
Did you consider the wind turbine option and what spares are you intending to carry?

I got an Aquair recently and have been experimenting with it. Set it up
with a meter and dummy load for a test and I got about six amps at 5 - 6
knots. Time consuming to unknot the line after retrieving it. I was
surprised at how slow it turns. I also got their stainless mounting bracket
for it. I am planning to proceed to install it. It seems useful to me.
