|o| You don't say where you are or whether you're using a Marine
|o| SSB or Ham rig.
|o| However to test your signal, the best thing to do is try to
|o| join a Maritime
|o| Mobile Cruising net and ask how your signal is.

|o| I've compiled a list of Marine SSB and cruising Ham net at:

|o| I'd find one that fits your time schedule and mode (marine
|o| ssb or ham),
|o| listen in for a day or two to see how the net works, and then
|o| check in.
|o| But be careful to observe net etiquette. Underway and

|o| particularly schedule driven, but most make time at the end
|o| of the net or
|o| just before the net for people to chitchat and get radio checks.
