It's what you would expect from a country that has an official bureau
of language purity. Every year these officials get together and BAN
the use of words and terms that are not properly...er... FRENCH...
that have crept into the language during the previous year. And THAT
is how 'Hamburger' came to be called "Fillet Amercaine".
