Hello Cruisers

We are HumanHorizons.Net and assist the developing world through the
Internet.

Our Mission Statement
HumanHorizons.Net is a non-government, all-volunteer, non-funded, online
community, whose aim is to connect people in the developing world with the
resources needed to build sustainable communities.

We are building a world-wide sea support network. Our first stage is
building the links to Fiji to enable a donated book delivery service to
Levuka, especially along the N. American West Coast thru Latin America and
then the Milk run with a northern route from Vancouver, Seattle to Hawaii
and then South. Stage 2 is Caribbean-Latin America. Stage 3 Africa-Asia.

HHN is also designing the links for a SSB/Ham network to interface with the
Net.

We really need your help in the following areas:

a.. Organisation of yacht clubs and marinas to act as way stations.
  b.. Participating vessels
c.. Cruisers with a social conscience who want to really make a difference
to other folks.
  d.. General organisation.
  e.. SSB/Ham network
The World Centre co-ordinates the activities and provides support to the HHN
Centres: Education Centre, Operations Centre, Resources Centre, Sustainable
Communities Centre and Volunteers Centre. Projects are in development in
Fiji and Central America. HHN World Centre has desks in Moscow, Dhaka,
Lisbon and a Regional Desk for Latin America with additional desks in
development.

HHN also has internet-based HHN Interactive Radio and HHN Radio with news,
music and features on the developing world.
HHN Radio Espanol and HHN Interactive Radio for Young People are in design
stages.

We especially welcome audio contributions from cruising sailors around the
world. HHN also uses indigenous world music and has a World Art Gallery in
preview mode now for contributions from artists around the world.

Thanks for reading our message, if you are land-based, and can spare a
couple of hours a month to help with organisation or are a cruising sailor
offshore or planning to go offshore, please e-mail me urgently. (or want
more information)
