Dear friends:

I asked you about searching the solo sailor Evgeniy Gvozdev.
How I´m from Argentina (The third world), no answers, no comments...
Now, this is the today news:
He isn´t citizen of a big and gorgeous country, but sail a lot!
In your self-built boat SAID, only 3,7 mts lengh, cruise the Black Sea, the Med, the Atlantic, Magallanes and now the Pacific in a 125 days trip.

Read, please and say me if he is or not a big sailor...

The Port auhority of Papeete transmitted to us your message.
 
Evgeniy GVOZDEV is presentely in the Leward islands of French Polynesia ( Raiatea & Bora Bora)
He arrived on SAID after 125 days sailing from Peru to Tahiti the 13 rd of last november & he spent more than 2,5 month
in the Tahiti yacht club where he receivrd a warm welcome & interest
His project is to sail non stop from Bora Bora to Torres Strait ( North of Australia) heading to Darwin as soon as the wheather conditions are good ( end of the cyclon season: march/april)
He is in good condition of health
A new mainsail, food, charts, shipschandlery, an emergency watermaker, a dinghy were offered to him by the members of the Tahiti yacht club.
