[worldcruising] Lime on Teak

OK, so how come I didn't know this earlier? Am I missing something real obvious
or what?

I just discovered the use of fresh limes to clean Teak. A quick rub with the
lime, let it cook for a while, and then rinse well, and I have beautiful blond
wood again.

Given that this requires no set up, no clean up, no masking, no gloves, no paint
thinner, no.... Well, I'm thinking that the solution to my teak care is going
to be to let it go to nature, and wipe it with limes every so often. Am I
missing something? This seems so basic that I feel like I must be overlooking
some potential pitfall, or ...

Have you tried it? Comments?

Thanks...Chris McKesson
