Subject: [worldcruising] SSB radio decision/Raymarine or ICOM

Which system is the better one to go with. The ICOM 710 or the
Raymarine 152 ssb. Does anyone have any experience with these? I
understand the Ray 152 ssb only uses the Marine SSB freq were as the
ICOM 710 is used both with the Marine SSB and Ham frequencies as
well. Can anyone help me with this decision. Thanks. John
