Subject: [worldcruising] Hand Washing Clothes...

Hey list,
A couple questions about hand washing clothes:
1- Has anyone used that Wonder Washer pressure
tank that you put hot water in and the pressure build
up from rotation helps wash your clothes? Does it
work well or just hype?
I'm more inclined to just use a 5 or 10 gal bucket and
get a new dedicated plunger to agitate with. Any other
suggestions or experiences?
2- Can anyone recommend any good detergents made
for hand washing clothes? Fresh and/or saltwater?
I've heard that the traditional detergents we use in
electric washing machines doesn't work as well for hand washing. I
saw the post recently about Joy dish washing soap
working well in salt and fresh water for showering. Anything
like "joy" for clothes washing? Or is there anything that
is "all purpose" that is gentle enough and works for
showering, dishes and clothes?
Thanks... in advance for all the great idea's that I'm
sure will follow.
