Yep. As was just mentioned, Sentinels have been around for a very long
time, usually just a tin can filled with scrap lead and melted into
goo, with a heavy eye ring on top.. at least that's what I've seen
used up Massachusetts way occasionally.
And yep, they can work nicely... assuming you have the right bottom,
the right anchor, etc etc. They'll keep the rode down nicely.
