Hi John
I machined a little off the roller "wings" and all is well now. That is why
I said what I did. I just crank on the windlass and the anchor comes home.
Easier than the CQR 45 or even the Claw 66. No lifting. I just tie a line
onto the anchor to hold it in place till next time. I still think it would
work even better with your bow sprit.

Well, I dunno, Bob. The OO sailed Truelove all around the Caribbean for 20
years using a CQR45 and the Delta is reputed to surpass them. Original spec
on the 42/43 was a CQR45 and a CQR60. The CQR75 I use now is all I want to
lift up thru the anchor platform; its pin is pretty well worn and that makes
a lot of difference in the set (or lack thereof) in the 2" of sand on coral
in much of the East Carib.
Did you get the roller rigged to self-stow the 88 or do you have to lift it?
