If you care, the way these "worm" viruses work is when you open a
file or attachment the virus goes in to your contact list or address
book and resends the virus (and on some of the viruses your .doc
files) to those addresses listed. It does not affect NT users only
95/98/2000/Me. It also screws up your W32 operating system. There
are many variations of this kind of virus. Yahoo only transfers the
messages. A true "gateway" would scan for viruses and prevent them
from being resent (if they are old viruses and a definition exists).
