Subject: [worldcruising] Adams 40 is it good?

Hi
I m looking at buying an steel Adams 40 centre board version that
needs some rigging and sails. I have heard there are some problems
with centre board vibration I would really appreciate anyones
comments on this boat. For instance would i be better off building a
more modern design for maybe 10% more money plus a lot of work?
I would like to do some shorthanded blue water cruising.
