This is interesting, Bryan, because on the day I did the sea trial with the
previous owner he mentioned something about being careful about the diesel I
purchase in Thailand, but I didn't pursue it since my mind with filled with
too many other questions and drunk with the glory of impending boat
ownership.
I'm still using the tank that he filled before the sale and I'm not sure
where he bought it. Question is, how do I make sure fuel is properly
filtered? Is there some sort of filter I can buy to place between my tank
and the fill hose? The image of me standing on the fuel dock trying in my
broken Thai to get some kid to vouch for the quality of his diesel is too
funny.
