[worldcruising] looking for a boat

Subject: [worldcruising] looking for a boat

My girlfriend and I are looking for a liveaboard sailboat with an inboard diesel engine. We will be living in Florida with frequent blue water trips over 3 day weekends and sometimes longer. I am a very capable sailor but I will be almost single handed as my girlfriend is beautiful decoration only on the boat : )

We are thinking around 40ft or so. Please let me know what you like and don't like and why. I know this mostly personal opinion but that is what I want.

I recently subscribed to this list and saw that Hunters were to avoided. What is the reason for this?

thanks in advance
Nolen Buffalo
