Hi, I used to liveaboard on a S.O. 32.2 with my girlfriend, and I can tell
you that the boat is very good for a single but a bit tight for two. She
sails very well, it's light so you sail with very low wind, but I found her
hard on the autopilot downwind to the point you have to stay all the time at
the wheel.
But she's very nice and forgiving, and you can find yourself quite
confortable even in a small blow, but I wouldn't like to cope with a really
angry ocean.
I sail in the Med, and here in Sardinia either you have light airs or strong
blows, changing in few hours, so I could test the boat under various
conditions.
I had to change the refrigerator after almost 1 year due to a compressor
failurebut it was painless thanks to the wonderful assistance of the
Jeanneau importer.
I like the boat, but for serious cruising and liveaboard my ideal is an
other type, anyway I'm very satisfied with her and in the Med I can go
wherever time (and weather) permits.
I f you like more info on upgrades and so, feel free to ask.
Fair winds
Gennaro Sammarco
