Greetings All

Thanks to Rick for the work he's done re radio skeds.

We are about to upgrade our HF (from an old Wagner fixed crystal unit).

Question 1

Should we get an HF/SSB which can also work the amateur bands or should we
get a separate ham set.

Question 2

What equipment are people using (Make and Model) and what is your feeling
about its reliability, efficiency etc.

(If there are a lot of responses I will summarise them and post it back to
this list.
