I've now completed the annual refit of my website. The most important thing
is that the site is no longer called www.lovers.walk etc but has been
renamed to www.yacht.callisto.btinternet.co.uk so please change any link
reference you may have.
The site is mainly an extended celebration of my Rustler 31, Callisto. For
anyone who was familiar with the original site, the following are additions
this year:
- further pictures of the boat - eg. the interior - see a link from the
'description & enhancements' section
- a homage to Callisto's previous owner, including two very good accounts
(not mine) of cruises in the Channel Islands, plus a brief essay on removing
bubbles from compasses
- an excellent account (again not mine) of cruising on the Ijsselmeer and a
grounding off the South Coast of England - both of these by my good friend,
Richard
- pictures of Laetitia, a Mk1 Rustler 31, which is owned by our friends, Lyn
and Dai
I've also included some pages documenting the voyage Janet and I made this
winter on the m/s Harald Jarl up the coast of Norway to the arctic circle
and beyond. These can be reached by clicking the 'other things' link which
is beneath the table of Callisto articles. Beware, however: unless you're
really interested in Norwegian Coastal Voyaging, you'll probably be very
frustrated by the download times of the pages in this section - I've gone
for largish pictures and plenty of em!
If you do have a look at any of this stuff, I'd be grateful for your
comments, criticisms or corrections.
