You'd need to check with Peter Mackay (the owner) but I seriously doubt
that he does (it would add a new level of complexity to a delightfully
simple system). The same units are used on RV's and 4WD in the hot inland
areas of Australia and, apparently, go very well.
I saw one being tested on a hot day where the cold plate was sitting out in
the open (hot summer's day) and it was well and truly covered with ice.
