Hi list
I have been on and off this list over the years. The last year we have
spent cruising the NSW and Queensland coast (Oz).
Next step is offshore and we are planning to head to the Lousiades (PNG) ,
probably from Bundaberg or Townsville in May, and then after about six weeks
there we plan to enter back into Oz at Thursday Is(Cape York ) and then onto
to Darwin.
We then hope to leave Darwin for Malaysia /Thailand in the last weeks of
September.
"We" is a family comprising my wife and two girls (6 & 9).
Anyone out there with similar plans or info on these passages or
destinations.
Particular info on:
- permits to visit aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory.
- methods of getting cheaper charts (than new from an agent in Oz) for
these legs
- any recent experience in gaining Indonesian cruising permits.
