If you are talking about the 12v supply then I can tell you from experience that a common switch won't do it. The lightning just jumps the contacts. A large double throw knife switch will work better. If you have a direct hit even that won't stop it. MOV's in the supply line help
but are not a guarantee. If you unplug move the wires well apart.
As far as the antennas go I just unplug. I have not found anything else that works. I have lost radios etc. to lightning. I am talking an actual hit.
You can put diodes back to back on the antenna center conductor of the coax and it will prevent damage in the event of a nearby strike but only if the rating of the diodes are not exceeded. Still a good idea.
