Good day Gennaro, I have two split mirror sextants and never looked at
anything else as I learned on a US Navy Mk 1 & a Davis. There is a list for
celestial navigation that I am sure could help answer your question.

It's a low volume list, but when a question is asked you generally get very
good responses.

Hi everybody,
another question for the list: can sombody explain me what'good and what's
bad between the beam converger sextant (like the Davis 25) ant the
traditional split horizon. I have an old ebbco I use to train and so I know
something to correct and maintain mirrors and the tool, but I don't know
anything about the beam converger.
Thanks,
Gennaro Sammarco
