Obviously depends upon where you are going and what your budget is, but I
believe that they are defiantly worth the trouble and expense if you can
possibly do so. On a two year cruise, we were one of the few boats (in
1990) that experienced no illness due bad water. In addition, in out of the
way places, water is often scarce and we even made gifts of water to locals
in several localities.
