Practical Sailor, January 1, 2000 reviews 5 folding bicycles. Their choice
is the Dahon Mariner (www.dahon.com). For the first two paragraphs, go to

block and click. One can also purchase the entire article.
I'm not in the market for a folding bike right now. When ready, I hope the
Russians have developed the leg attachments which allow one to take giant
steps. Only problem with them is that they use some explosives.
