On our double mattress (quarter berth) we ended up installing two large pad
eyes, one centered at the foot and the other centered at the mattress head,
we then ran a small (non stretch) line through the bottom of our lee cloth
and cinched it down very tight. What you end up with is a line running down
the middle of your mattress that the lee cloth is integral with. This works
well as long as you have room for the pad eyes and some fancy knot tying to
get the line tight.
