I was talking about desktop/towers NOT notebooks... they replace the
internal powersupply of the tower with one which feeds directly off 12 V...
as you may or may not know, PC's internals only rum off about 5V DC so it
seems silly to use an inverter only to have the PC's power supply convert it
back to DC 5V anyway... I'll keep searching to see if I can find these
guys...

this is a tower PC, not lap top.
We do have an inverter, wanted to use my digital camera and send
pictures while cruising.
