Subject: [worldcruising] Old Anchors

I recently purchased a secondhand anchor that has a medium amount of
rust on it. The galvernising is gone in parts and it really needs
sandblasting and regalvernising. But being an anchor I wouldn't
normally use and always looking to save a dollar, could I grind it
back and hit it with the cold galvernising paint or is there a better
way?
