Opinions? You bet! Go with the Apex. Not even a close choice. We own both
an Apex and an Avon, and the Apex is approximately 3, 296.22% better, IMHO
<G> Practical Sailor rates the Apex very highly. The other folks I know
who also have Apex dinghies like them a lot.
To be hones, the Avon is an old one, although I've owned others which were
new when bought. The Apes was bought new three years ago. The tubes are
larger on the Apex.
