Thanks for the info on Windhunter. However not to be confused with
Windseeker from Southwest Wind Power. Since my original posting about
Windseeker, I found out from one of their resellers that he feels the
Windseeker is over rated in terms of output even with his specially designed
carbon fiber blades. However he did say that his company (Aeromax) has
bought the Wind Baron. I remember that the reports on the Wind Baron were
impressive. 750 watts at 28 kts. Aeromax will be manufactuing the Wind Baron
with their caron fiber blades. They expect to get 15 amp at 10 kts of wind
speed. If that's true, (testing yet to be completed) I would seriously
consider one.

I bought and fitted a hydraulic ram to my new Hylas 49 for the WaterDrive
also made by WindHunter ... at considerable expense. Now I am told by the
US agent (whose idea it was) that they are having liquidity problems. All
calls to the UK headquarters are taken by an answerphone and no one rings
back. Anyone want an unused ram? ... $700 and a lot of inconvenience down
the drain!

David
