Petrol or Electric scooters? Electric are unlikely to cover the 50km round
trip. 15 maybe.

Subject: [worldcruising] motorized scooters

Earlier this year, a group of us did the ocean race Melbourne to Grassy
(King Island), Across the infamous Bass Strait in Victoria Australia. When
we got there, we discovered that the restaurants and the pubs were 25km
across the island at Currie.
We needed a mode of transport to kill time until the weather subsided for
the return journey.
The two options I came up with was a couple of push bikes or a couple of
those motorised scooters.
Has anyone got any ideas on the correct mode of transport in the remote
port?
