David: I've had AOL since 1995. While that may put my
judgement into question < wink > I might be able to
help. By "support attachments" did you mean that you
expected the AOL software to open and read, for
example, a Microsoft Word file? If so, you're correct
that it will not, no more than Eudora or many other
dedicated internet clients will. Suggest you download
such attachments using AOL to, for example,
MyDocuments, then use your copy of Word to execute the
file. If the above was not helpful, please feel free
to contact me directly and I'll help you best as I'm
