You might want to investigate www.valise.com for an internet/web
based e-mail provider. It's more or less free, handles attachments,
and even allows e-mail to be passworded so that only the recipient can
open mail you send them.
As far as dial up, more and more folks in the Carib are using pocket
mail. www.pocketmail.com.
