I have a plate in the freezer I bought used for $75 and it is powered by a
1/2hp air cooled condenser in the bilge. I paid approx
$350 for the condensing unit. I am able to pull the plate down to about 20
below on a 45 min. run and the cold drifts down into the fridge to keep it
    properly cooled for many hours.
