I've been recently looking over the "Top 10" comments from several months
ago, as I also am looking at a nice 36' Willard Vega Offshore up here in the
pacific Northwest. I would very much appreciate any information, comments,
opinions, and what to look out for on a 1963 model. Also, I've only seen the
36' Willard Vega Pilothouse in pictures (Forrest Myers' boat a is really
nice looking boat). Looks like the same hulI as the Offshore. I love the
Pilothouse design. Does anyone know of any in the PNW? Thanks!

I'll admit that a 40' Willard may be considered the perfect trawler by
some but a 36' Willard Vega Pilothouse ain't bad. Their main problem is
that they are all getting old. I'd also like to nominate the 32' Fales
Seeker. Not many of them were built as I understand that Mr. Fales got
tired and decided to go out of business. They are very similar to the
Willard 30' trawler but the extra two feet makes quite a bit of
    difference.
