    I had a similar problem but worse. It would suck the Racor dry. We found a
    piece of duct tape in the fuel line just upstream from the Racor. That was
    causing the vacuum to be very high. Someone had apparently borrowed the fuel
    fill cap and replaced it with a piece of tape which eventually fell into the
    tank and worked its way into the fuel line. Weird, eh?
     
    So, you might check for an obstructed fuel line.
