Avgas: no ethanol - correct. Otherwise equivalent to regular mogas - no.
Has 4 to 10x the lead in it as standard leaded mogas had. Avgas 100LL has 4x
that. I think the EPA boys would frown on using leaded avgas in boats.
Also, has lower vapor pressure and might cause starting problems in colder
conditions. But avgas is good, highly controlled stuff and VERY stable in storage.
