I sold fuel stability additives a few years back and found in research that only a few additives will stabilize (retain freshness and bring back gasoline to close to original specifications) gasoline. StaBil and PRI-G?will actually improve old or degraded fuel. You can go to www.priproducts.com and see actual test data done by independent laboratories. You will see that both of these products will do the job. Since both have ingredients to raise the flash point of gasoline they will help start an old outboard or engine with bad fuel and clean the carb at the same time.
