Should be no problem - I've done it with a C80, and a couple of
    chart programs on the computer.

The output of the AIS receiver will be at 38,400 baud, not the 4800
normally used by NMEA-0183. My SR161 AIS receiver will take 4800 baud
NMEA-0183 in, and mix it with the AIS data, sending the result at
38,400. The C80 and C120 have a single serial port which can be set to 38,400
    to accept this combined data.

A Raymarine autopilot should get the NMEA data through the C120 via
SeaTalk. Other pilots will have to pick up the NMEA data directly from
the GPS or PC chart plotter program. I'm planning to feed the outputs
of either a GPS128 or the PC (switchable) directly to the Raymarine
    pilot input.

I'm currently planning a revision of my NMEA-0183 system - I'll try to
get drawings of the current and proposed systems on
    http://members.shaw.ca/peterbb later tonight.
