Perhaps I have missed it...but in the discussion of VacuFlush toilets, I don't recall any mention of the Lavac Manual or Electric vacuum flush. They have been around for almost fifty years. On Nancy Lakin, I have two of the manuals, and in seven years they have worked perfectly, without rebuilding, repairs, spare parts, or any attention at all. Just in case, I do carry the repair kits...but they are still in the parts locker.
Simplicity is not a bad thing. Thus, on a related subject, does one really want to varnish teak handrails just because a future buyer might like it? Not an easy task, if done right.
