Last fall we had a 'Flare Firing' hosted by the local USPS and Sea Scouts.
Just for fun, I had seveal out of date Flares. These are the smaller flare
pistol type.
Ones dated 2003 and 1996 were just fine. Could not notice any differance
between them and current ones.
Did have a a few dated 1982. Those did not work. They launched just fune,
but the 'flare' part did not burn. (one nothing, one a very very small
trace of burning)
Just an FYI.
