Many years ago when I got my (new to me) twin 120 Lehman Grand Banks, I designed and installed a very flexible "fuel management" system. The system includes:

A single Gulf Coast filter, single Walbro, dual Racors (one for each engine) and many valves

    I can:

    polish either fuel tank
take either racor "off-line" (with the engine running) to change filter
Move fuel from tank to tank
allow either of my two generators to use either fuel tank
allow either engine to draw from any combination of my fuel tanks
    prime the engine fuel system
use the "fuel management" (Walbro) pump to take over for the lift pump should it fail...

Oh, and the Walbro has a timer so I can have polishing take place at specific times (I have it run 4 hours every day of the week)....

Anyone wanting a jpeg photo of the design, e-mail me and I will send it..
