yesterday while crossing sf bay, my lehman 135 sputtered once and quit.
hasty visual inspection revealed a split rubber fuel hose coming from the
primary racor manifold. fortunately the hose was long enough to cut off the
    leak portion and re attach.
but......despite bleeding and pumping the lift pump till had had blisters on
both thumbs i was only able to bleed the secondary and the fuel line into
the injector. never got it started again despite an hour drifting pumping
and running up and down from the engine room.
this is not a good job for the solo sailor.
ending was moderately happy with a tow to the dock from vessel assist (best
    120.00 membership i ever bought)

the lehman manual said the injector was supposed to be self bleeding. should
i have opened the two bolts on the side as well as the individual injectors?
should i have an electric lift pump as an auxiliary.?
i am going to buy a remote electric starter switch for the next time.
