I am having a problem with my Kohler 13.5 KW generator. After about running
for 3-4 hours, it quits. I can restart it, however, it only runs for a few
minutes and then quits again. The next day it works great. I have had
several Techs look at it. I have had everything on it checked over and over
again. I have replaced the fuel pump and other parts. I also have checked the
water cooling discharge and it seems OK. The main problem is that the Techs say
they cannot really determine what the problem is when the generator is running
fine. Every time it stop working, I have not been able to get a Tech to come
and look at it at that precise time. It seems that it may be a heat problem.
Any thoughts on this.
