IMHO, the Balmar 100A is way too small; you cannot expect more than about
80A continuous and the bearings are not suitable for long-term use. Suggest you
get at least a Balmar 9504-150 or 165 or 210.
Regarding regulation I had not heard that the single MC-612 was recommended
for separate alternators on different engines. Certainly it can be used for 2
alternators by changing the fuse as Rodger said. Balmar also recommends that
in that case both field leads be connected at the regulator and not
daisy-chained.
