I was ready to mail in my USCG documentation renewal in hopes of getting it
back before boat sailed to Alaska on May 6 and even had stamp on renewal
form. I read the posting in the chat group......and decided to do the fax
method recommended for early renewal. I faxed the morning of April 11. I
received my document in Seattle area yesterday on April 17. Remarkable. I
have faxed before but without this response rate. By doing it an earlier
date It has indexed my renewal time to a more convenient Spring expiration
date than mid summer one which I struggled with before as boat was always
already in Alaska in summer and getting document there was a hassle. I highly
recommend it if you have no changes.
