Hello All,
I have been using rechargeable alkaline batteries
for years. I started with Rayovac Renewal
batteries but when they stopped making those I
found other sources.
They are in the keyboard I am typing on now, the
mouse that I use, 2 hand held lighted 10X
magnifying glasses. 2 TV remote controls, and my
Remote Wonder that I use to watch TV on this
computer.
The last purchase of new batteries was over a year
ago, when I bought twice as many batteries as I
need to operate all this stuff.
Yes, they cost more than twice as much as
Duracells do, but how many times do you get to
recharge a Duracell?
Here is a link to one site. This one only sells
'AA' and 'AA' and the appropriate chargers but
they give quick shipping and no web page troubles:

Now that is a REAL alkaline battery trick!
